We both work in the restaurant industry and have joined our different minds to create flavors from the universe in accessible plant based vibrations.

Pretzelina

It all started with a trip to Oktoberfest in Munich 5 years ago. I quickly learned the best way to soak up lots of beer is with a crusty brown salted pretzel, or brezel, as the Germans call it. Upon returning home, I was surprised that it was difficult, if not impossible, to find such delicious pretzels. So I decided to make my own. After lots of testing and re-testing, and a few more trips to Germany, I finally was able to recreate the Bavarian pretzel. So now it's time to share it with everyone! These pretzels are crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside, topped with flaky sea salt. The brown crust is only acheived by a pre-bake dip in a lye solution, as the Germans have been doing since the very first pretzel was made. Enjoy them warm with salted butter, dipped in spicy brown mustard, or with nothing at all.
